Protect VM-CS
Colloidal Silicate
Protect VM-CS is a clear in situ concrete treatment developed to create a permanent dense colloidal gel that extremely limits slab permeability. Protect VM-CS penetrates deeply into the concrete substrate and reacts with free alkali and/or alkaline hydrates internally producing a silica hydro-gel that fills the micro spaces and voids around aggregate. This hydro-gel permanently seals the matrix blocking water, vapor or contaminant movement.

Protect VM-PR
Vapor Mitigation Primer
Protect VM-PR is a white or milky solution that is a combination matrix and topical treatment which primes a substrate treated with Protect VM-CS or other silicate surface treatment. Protect VM-PR penetrates into the substrate and reacts with free alkali and/or alkaline hydrates internally linking to the existing silica hydro-gel and creating an industrial acrylic seal at the surface upon drying. This combination of sub-surface and surface seal maximizes bond and allows for the use of non breathable polymer coatings such as Protect VM-IP without the adhesion risks associated with the silicates acting as bond breakers.

Protect VM-BW
Block & Wall Silicate
Protect VM-BW is a clear subsurface treatment developed to create a permanent, dense colloidal gel that extremely limits permeability when used vertical concrete or concrete block. Protect VM-BW penetrates the concrete substrate and reacts with free alkali and/or alkaline hydrates internally producing a silica hydro-gel that fills the micro spaces and voids around aggregate or in block. This hydro-gel permanently seals the matrix blocking water and vapor movement.

Impermeable Polymer
Protect VM-IP is a two-component, 100% solids basic polymer resin supplied as a clear system. Protect VM-IP is formulated without to achieve maximum density and performance as an extremely low permeation film. Used for application over Protect VM-CS and Protect VM-PR to maximize the mitigation of water and vapor intrusion.
