Our antimicrobial additives are integral key ingredients in our products, not merely a surface treatment. All our antimicrobial flooring products are protected against bacterial and fungal growth. The antimicrobial properties of these products will remain effective for the life of the system, even after repeated washings, sanitizations and decontaminations

Your concrete floor is a naturally porous material that can provide an ideal environment for harmful microbes to thrive.  Water seeping into the crevices of the concrete provides a key element for nurturing another source of contamination right under your feet.  Also, applying an antimicrobial colloidal pre-treatment product prior to installation of a polymer coating or resurfacing system will help control this potential source of contamination.

PIP AM-PT

Antimicrobial Concrete Pretreatment
PIP AM-PT is a clear in situ antimicrobial concrete treatment developed to create a permanent dense colloidal gel that extremely limits slab permeability. PIP AM-PT penetrates deeply into the concrete substrate and reacts with free alkali and/or alkaline hydrates internally producing an extremely dense silica hydro-gel that fills the micro spaces and voids around aggregate. This hydro-gel permanently seals the matrix limiting water, vapor or contaminant movement.

PIP 1800 AM Flex is an antimicrobial three-component, flexible epoxy and urethane hybrid coating. PIP 1800 AM Flex is applied as a membrane and/or broadcast with aggregate to form a flexible impact resistant wear course. PIP 1800 AM Flex has been modified with an antimicrobial component that is integral to the manufactured product. The product is protected against bacterial and fungal growth. The antimicrobial properties will remain effective for the life of the product.

PIP 2100 AM

Antimicrobial, UV Protective, Low-Odor, High-Solids, High-Gloss Urethane

PIP 2100 AM is a high-solids, high-gloss, two or three-component antimicrobial and UV protective polyurethane coating. It can be applied over an epoxy primer or used to recoat an existing epoxy or urethane floor. PIP 2100 AM is also formulated with UV inhibitors to greatly reduce damaging UV rays from penetrating and yellowing an epoxy basecoat when applied as a clear coat. PIP 2100 AM is recommended as the antimicrobial clear finishing coat on decorative flake, quartz or metallic pigmented flooring systems. PIP 2100 AM may also be pigmented on applications requiring a solid color antimicrobial urethane topcoat.

Antimicrobial Polyaspartic Coating
PIP 4300 AM is a two or three-component (when pigmented), 100% solids, antimicrobial modified aliphatic/polyaspartic floor coating material that exhibits fast cure, excellent UV resistance and has virtually no odor. PIP 4300 AM is an ideal coating for use in decorative applications where a rapid cure, UV resistant, low odor, high build coating is desired. PIP 4300 AM exhibits good resistance to the most common chemicals, has zero VOC’s and meets all USDA guidelines for use in federally inspected facilities.
